Jackie Mendelson is the Founder and CEO of ArabicaDabra Coffee Company. She established ArabicaDabra in 2009 after spending 10 years opening AIDS clinics in Africa, Asia and Latin America. It was working in coffee growing counties all long the equator that fueled her passion to purchase green coffee beans and to sell 100% Arabica bean coffee. Her coffee is artesian roasted in small batches to assure that every bag is fresh.

Using local vendors is a core value of ArabicaDabra, as is the mission to provide resources such as livestock, bicycles and looms to people of need in coffee growing countries. ArabicaDabra Coffee is sold exclusively in Whole Foods Markets in several Southern California locations.

Jackie has contributed to a variety of organizations and causes over the years and is currently the Chairperson of JNET, a national professional networking organization for those in the Jewish community. She also serves as a Senior Advisor for Doctors of the World USA and the Touch of Hope Foundation. In her role as consultant for DOWUSA, she assisted the Executive Director in opening The Rockaway Cares Free Clinic, the first domestic program of Médecins du Monde.

After years of experience as Executive Director of Tuum Est, Inc., a residential treatment and therapeutic organization on Venice Beach for those recovering from substance abuse, she played a pivotal role in the West Hollywood Homeless Organization. As both a consultant and later, the Executive Director, she oversaw a complete turnaround of the program through her strong vision and leadership skills.

Afterwards, as Director of Community Health and HIV/AIDS Services for Prototypes, Inc., Jackie obtained $300K in grant funds and established WomensCare, California’s first Early Intervention Treatment Program for women with HIV/AIDS.

Jackie spent the next 13 years at AIDS Healthcare Foundation, starting as a consultant and then hired to work in various capacities to promote HIV/AIDS testing, prevention, and medical care. When promoted to Chief of Operations, she managed the foundation's operational growth worldwide. During this period, Jackie moved to Amsterdam where she also served as Chief of Global Affairs.

Jackie has also been licensed as a Real Estate Associate since 1985, and remains actively involved in representing buyers and sellers at White House Properties in the San Fernando Valley.
